Advantages of piston diaphragm metering pumps over other types of liquid pumps (piston pumps, diaphragm pumps)
As early as in the 1980s Alltech developed the first piston diaphragm metering pump type FKM thus combining the advantages of both diaphragm pumps and piston pumps:
- Hermetic separation of the environment from the chemicals by means of dosing diaphragms
- Leakage-free operation
- High suction capacity and dosing accuracy through piston diaphragm system
- Constant dosing output even at variable back pressure
- All metering pumps of the FKM type are equipped with an integrated pressure relief valve certified by the Technical Control Board.
- FKM metering pumps fulfill all relevant EC-Directives
- Dosing pump specifications according to 12. BlmSchV regulations
