IFAT 2010 – we are looking forward to meeting you!
From September 13 to 17, 2010 the IFAT is opening its gates in Munich. Visit us at our stand No. 204 in hall A3! Use the opportunity for a personal meeting at the IFAT 2010. We will be pleased to arrange a personal meeting with our sales managers (phone: ++49 (0)7244 70 26 -18). For a ticket voucher click here.

We will be proud to introduce the new design of the fully automatic polyelectrolyte preparation system PKF for liquid concentrate on the IFAT. The dosing pump is specially designed for products with high viscosity. The control panel of this preparation unit is equipped with additional control and safety functions. The PKF excels in the user-friendly arrangement of its components, which also allows for easy maintainance.
Another highlight will be the presentation of our dosing set F51K with maintenance unit as well as the proven piston diaphragm metering pumps FKM in compact design. Installation and assembly effort on site is minimised with these by the thought-out design and at the same time safe operation is guaranteed. Additional safety functions of the FKM piston diaphragm metering pump like overpressure and diaphragm rupture signalisation provide the operator with the crucial operational data at all times.
Our fully automatic polyelectrolyte preparation system for granular and liquid polymer, the CONTINUFLOC V7 – in version 2, is now also available with the additional control function of the solution dosage with post-dilution. Intuitive operation via touchpanel and the variable functions for the dosing pump control make adaptation to the special operating conditions easy. In addition the graphic display offers optimum status supervision and function control. As a specialty we will also show the AIRLIFT 2 (conveyor for powder and granular material) this year, a low-cost version of the proven powder conveyor. This option can also be controlled from the control panel of the CONTINUFLOC.
Alltech dosing equipment and storage tanks in the biogas plant at Leszno, Poland
Through the Belgian OWS (Organic Waste Systems) Alltech delivered dosing equipment and storage tanks for the biogas plant at Leszno, Poland.
OWS is specialised in the biological treatment of solid and semi-solid organic substrates. With the DRANCO process developed by OWS (Dry Anaerobic Composting) the organic fraction from household waste is converted into renewable energy, biogas and solid waste under anaerobic conditions. The capacity of the DRANCO system at Leszno is approx. 20,000 tons per year. With the CONTINUFLOC V7 by Alltech polymer solution is prepared and dosed into the dewatering process, to optimise the dewatering of the fermented material in a mechanical press. By storage and dosing equipment with special FKMV pumps (for highly viscous media) a defoamer is added at the outlet of the dewatering machine in order to avoid foam.
For the ferric chloride dosing, our storage tanks and the TABESY, the safe road tanker filling system, are used in Leszno. The dosing skid is equipped with piston diaphragm metering pumps FKM and includes all components relevant for operation safety and the handling of chemicals hazardous to water. The ferric chloride removes the hydrogen sulphides from the process which would otherwise have negative influence on the fermentation.
