SOLVIMAT – Preparation system for powdery or granular products

SOLVIMAT is a semi-automatic, easy to operate solution preparation unit, designed as two-chamber pendulum system.

The system is suitable for the preparation of lime, aluminium sulfate, urea, ferric salts and many others. One of the main advantages of the SOLVIMAT is that it can be used for different bulk products – from powdery to boulder/granular – and in variable qualities. The discharge will be automatically switched over from the empty to the previously prepared second tank. By this, a continuous solution discharge is possible. Powder loading can be carried out with BIG BAGs or bags. The control panel of the SOLVIMAT is equipped with a touch-screen, which makes the operation easy. The thoughtful design makes the seldom needed maintenance easy.

Alltech accepts the bid for the supply of PE-tanks, preparations sytems and dosing stations for BIORENDER, the biggest Swiss biogas/fermentation plant at present

The biggest Swiss fermentation plant at present is under construction in Münchwilen. 30000 tons of organic waste will be the input for the production of 41000 mWh power p.a., produced from/made from biogas, which is CO2-neutral. The completition of the plant will be in spring 2010.

The project comprises the delivery, assembly and installation of several preparation and dosing systems, including measurement and on-site control as well as thermoplastic tanks in the fermentation plant.

The preparation and dosing systems for the chemicals used in this biogas plant are attuned to the specific requirements of the media (ferric salts, sodium hydroxide solution, sulphuric acid, defoamer and polyelectrolyte). For example, the double-walled tanks with design certification are equipped with reliable safety-devices. Tanks and wiring of the sodium hydroxide solution station are supplied with heating to avoid sulphuring.

To achieve a solids content as high as possible, polyelectrolyte as coagulation aid is added to the sludge. Our reliable two-chamber-pendulum system for polyelectrolyte preparation CONTINUFLOC guarantees for the maturity time of polymer solution postulated by the producer of chemicals.
