Wastewater Treatment Plant Schönermark: Renewal of the Coagulant Storage and Dosing System

As part of ongoing modernization measures, the Schönemark wastewater treatment plant has undergone a significant upgrade. A key component of the project was the renewal of the storage and dosing station. The aim of this modernization was to improve operational safety, dosing accuracy, and the overall efficiency of the wastewater treatment process.

Alltech supplied two storage and dosing stations for phosphate precipitation, each consisting of a storage tank with a usable volume of 25 m³ and a dosing station with four piston diaphragm dosing pumps including PROCON control.

With this upgrade, the plant is well prepared to meet current and future requirements for environmental protection, water quality, and reliable plant operation.

Investment in a Future-Proof Wastewater Infrastructure

With the renewal of the storage and dosing station for phosphate precipitation , the Schönemark wastewater treatment plant has taken an important step toward a modern, reliable, and future-proof treatment infrastructure. The new technology improves operational safety, enhances process control, and supports the long-term protection of surrounding water bodies.

This investment ensures that the plant will continue to provide effective wastewater treatment and environmental protection for the region in the years to come.
