INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS AT THE IFAT 2024 TRADE FAIR

Alltech presents innovative solutions for water and wastewater treatment at the IFAT 2024 trade fair in Munich.

A highlight at the IFAT trade fair from 13 to 17 May 2024 in Munich will be the fully automatic PREPADOS dissolving and dosing system for powder and granulate. This innovative solution offers an efficient way to dissolve chemicals such as calcium hydroxide (slaked lime) or aluminium sulphate.

Thanks to the new control and monitoring functions, operators can remotely influence important parameters in drinking water treatment and wastewater treatment, react quickly to changes and thus ensure the quality of the drinking water or treated wastewater.

Alltech will also be presenting the robust piston diaphragm dosing pump FKM with intelligent control iReg and pump accessories at IFAT 2024.

The trade fair highlights in detail:

The PREPADOS V5 dissolving and dosing system meets the requirements of digitalisation in water treatment with new control and monitoring functions

The PREPADOS V5 is a fully automatic dissolving and dosing system for the treatment of powder and granulate or liquid concentrate. The PREPADOS is designed as a single-chamber system. Alltech uses the Siemens 1200 CPU for precise control. The function of all drives and sensors is monitored and any faults are displayed on the touch panel. Communication with the control system is optional and possible via Profibus DP or Ethernet/Profinet.

FKM piston diaphragm dosing pump with iReg monitors and controls itself
The FKM dosing pump was developed for dosing liquid chemicals. To monitor and control piston diaphragm dosing pumps, Alltech has fitted a controller with an operating terminal to the pump itself. It evaluates and displays all sensor data from the pump on the spot; only the result of the internal measurement data evaluation is transmitted to the external control system.
